A cloudy day with mild temperatures; almost feels like fall to us. Only a few sprinkles today. Took a side trip to view some countryside we have not seen yet. Lovely homes with well manicured yards and lots of beautiful flowers abound. Of course this area has been having plenty of rain to help the lawns and flowers flourish.
Pink Clematis shown here; most of the ones I've seen have been purple (as seen earlier) on vacation.
While we were in a small town where David lived many years ago, he showed me the location of the gas station he once owned and the house he lived in at that time.
Stopped by to visit David’s sister, Ruth.
Tomorrow, we plan to visit an old mansion that has been restored to its original condition. Eventually, it became a rest home and that part is now a museum with a wide variety of exhibits.
